Fort Worth, TX IG Gunite Build

So day 1 of tile and coping is in the books. I was surprised how much they got completed today and they are expecting to finish coping and start on the waterfall tomorrow. So far the quality of work has been great. Here's some pics!

Yep should have all stone work done by Thursday and deck will begin on Friday. Electrical and gas will get hooked up next week and if we're lucky we can plaster late next week and fill by the weekend. At least that's the "perfect" scenario. Since there will be a couple inspections we may get pushed into the following week. But overall I'm happy with the progress.

Your tile and coping look like they were made for each other. And I love the stacked stone on your spillway. You're going to have some great water movement between the waterfall and the spillway.

Looking forward to the deck going in!

Thanks suz. I can't wait for the decking. We're going with the exposed aggregate to keep up with the natural stone theme. Next big choice is plaster. Right now we're leaning towards stonescapes aqua blue mini pebble but the Caribbean blue is also peaking my interest. My wife is over the dark pebble woohoo!

This is beautiful! Are you planning on sealing all that stone before introducing the salt? I want salt, my husband wants stone, so we're trying to figure it all out. Did your pool builder warn you and make you sign a waiver? That's what I'm getting from all the people I'm interviewing...
