The other day I asked a question about pump speeds and here is a followup question. Thought it would be best to start a new thread.

Is it better for the pool (and the electric bill) to run the pump at a lower speed for a longer time?
What is the lowest speed that your pump should be set to for it to actually circulate and properly filter a 10,000 gallon pool?

FYI - we do not have a SWG and our pool is under a screen enclosure so we hardly ever have any debris in our pool.

Thank you in advance for all of your suggestions and guidance!

You could run your filter and pump 24/7 at 800 rpm to 1000 rpm and probably be great... With a VS pump that would be about 60 to 80 watt light bulb... cost about 8 to 10 dollars a month to run 24/7 :)
