I have decided to do the foam floor and cove. I am going to use 1 inch. Just not sure if I am going to get tongue and groove or square edge. Installer said square edge is fine but I am thinking a tongue and groove would interlock better. Did you use duct tape, Gorilla Tape? I read that Tyvek tape is very good and is thinner and may help with show thru.

I used square edge. I put 3 layers of 7mil duct tape over each joint. and the floor is vey smooth. Below is a link to a post with pictures of my build showing the floor.

I used the pink foam on top of crusher rock. Worked great. Check out my build thread.
