Flow problem

Hi. I have an in-ground pool, Waterway pump and filter, Polaris Caretaker 99. The pump works fine doing backwash but when filtering there is no return. The pressure at the Caretaker is 30, when normally is 22/25. I can't see through the lid of the pump if the water is flowing, and there is no flow in the skimmer.
I disassembled both the pump and the Caretaker completely, nothing wrong. I don't have a clue what else it could be the problem.
Any help will be highly appreciated!

Pictures of equipment and caretaker. When was the last time you opened filter up and cleaned it. Please update signature.

If it’s algae it could be clogging up your filter we would need accurate tests to rule that out.
