Not having much success looking on-line for a simple floating (not attached to anything) blanket to cover our 15 X 30 in-ground pool. Aim is more to mitigate evaporation, than retain heat. We've a heat pump to warm up pool water during the day. Would like to just purchase whatever material is needed, and then cut it to fit pool. We live in south Florida, so pool is used all year 'round. All suggestions most welcome. Thanks very much.

We bought this one and plan to cut it to size. It will still be a bit short on our steps, but it is what it is. lol

Wow. Thanks for posting this. Photographs almost always seem to tell more than words. Will you be putting it on & taking it off strictly by hand, or do you have a spool-type object to roll it on & off? Can you have the pump running while the cover is on? Beautiful house & yard.

Thanks! We will probably be doing it by hand. I can’t find a good place for a cover roller on our deck. It’s not very big, but we like it. :)

Pump has no issue running while it’s on the pool at all. It should hold well regardless of wind as well. We considered a clear one because they transmit heat better, but this is more to stop evaporation from our heater heating the pool, and we’ve heard the clear ones can look stained and rough after a bit. So we stuck with blue. Matches our liner pretty well too.
