I am a DIY pool newbie and am seeing our colored plaster looking more blotchy and mottled than last year. The live oaks over the pool finally finished their leaf drop followed by their pollen/flower_pod drop. Do these pics look like calcium deposits? My CH bounces around from 250-450 (per Leslie's AccuBlue). Assuming the stains are calcium related, I was intrigued by this no-drain Stain Removal Kit from poolstainremovers. Talked to the owner/inventor and he says it is a one of a kind product used on over 20K pools that works well for even our stained colored plaster. It takes 3 weeks to run its course but swimming is OK after 1 week. Looking for any feedback on the kit and hoping some members can share their experience after using it. Thank you.

The primary directive of TFP is never to add anything to your pool that you do not know the chemicals of and what they will do to your water chemistry.

poolstainremovers does not list what chemicals are in their magic potions. That is not acceptable.

Test your stains using...

Jacksmagic are good stain removers if you understand what their effects will be.
