First timer!

I cant thank you all enough! I am pretty sure we are there... I ran out of the R-0871 drops Saturday but got the replacement in yesterday...didnt add anything yesterday and checked everything today...

CH=225
TA=70
CYA=50
PH=7.5
SALT=3400ppm

I know I need to raise the CYA level to 70. I was worried about the SWG throwing the high salt code and having to replace some water, but so far (about 30 minutes in) it's working like a champ! I appreciate this community so much for all the help...any more advice or tips??

If you have too much salt you are going to have to drain some water. How are you testing your salt content, from what I have read if you added 70 lb of salt you would only be around 2500 ppm salt? The only thing I can think of is draining some water to try and test if the SWG will stop throwing the error code.

K-1766 Taylor Test Kit...according to pool math I think I need to drain about 20-25% to get it down around 2600ppm...I've been creeping on the SWG pages and that sounds like the sweet spot for my SWG.
