First Time SLAM with progress pictures - How long does clarity take to come back?

My first time having to do slam since we got the pool. Went on a week long trip and wasn't there to check my pool everyday and used my automatic chlorinator. Got a call from my brother 4 days before I got back and the return hose blew a hole in it and leaked out all the water. He got the pump off before it burned up but it was not circulating meaning no chlorine. I have been checking the levels 4+ times a day, running pump 24/7, sweeping 4+ times/day , vacuuming daily, and cleaning filter daily. My chlorine usage dropped way off today so I am guessing I might pass the overnight test tonight.
How long does it typically the clarity take to come back? At the moment I can barely see my brush on the bottom. Any tips to speed it up?

I have a hayward voyager swim pro CC1750.
It stayed cloudy to the point I couldn't see the second step on the ladder. The day after I posted this, I woke up to test and it was crystal clear. Passed all the SLAM criteria.

I stopped SLAM after it passed the test, it only dropped to 12 yesterday by 8PM, it had started the day at 13.5 at 8AM. My slam level was 14. I'm pretty confident it's all good.

Nick, did you take your ladder out and clean? And did you have any dead mustard algae at the bottom?

I did not remove the ladder, it's too big to get out myself. I scrubbed it really well with the brush every day. Once I could get in and see I got the backside and under it. I didn't see mustard algae. Pool has been looking good since.
