we just had an in ground pool put in. I am excited but need to figure out the chemical balance portion and good test kits. Looking forward to learning from this site.

+1 on the SpeedStir. It makes the FC (&CC), CH, and TA tests much faster and easier. Eliminates splashing and spilling if you have five thumbs. Or you could wait a few months like I did and then after a couple dozen or so test sessions without it, order the SpeedStir, after which you'll really appreciate it!
