Good afternoon. We bought our house in Enterprise Alabama 7 months ago. I was reluctant because it had a pool, a salt water pool. Unfortunately my wife won on the decision to have a pool and now I find myself maintaining it. It's not difficult but man alive, the pool requires constant attention or it turns into the incredible Hulk, and winning that battle is difficult.
So...I am a retired Army Aviator. Deployed a few times, flew Chinook Helicopters, managed Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and now I am working as a Flight School Instructor. My kids are grown up....at least they will tell you that (22 and 19), and they live in Seattle WA. My wife and I have been married for almost 27 years. Enough about me....
I love this forum. People are nice, helpful, and offer sound advice. I have yet to read a thread where someone is irritated, argumentative, and upset at the world. What I like the most about this forum, there seems to be highly experience pool DIYers and professionals offering assistance to those that need help.
I look forward to enjoying the forum and educating myself more on pool care/maintenance.
