While the OCLT is a valuable tool, but there's a reason it's only 1 of 3 SLAM passing criteria. Sometimes pool chemistry throws a twist, and for whatever reason, algae doesn't show a large consumption rate. Might be the type of algae, amount, stage of development, etc. But if you see algae, it's a safe bet to continue the SLAM until it's gone. You just started too, so those numbers could change over the next day or two.
