Hello,
Completed first slam, water in FC drift down from the slam. Current numbers below:
- FC: 7.5
- CC: 0.5
- PH: 7.8
- TA: 170
- CH: 25
- CYA: 35
Questions:
- Is PH accurate enough at current FC to start adjusting PH down so I can attempt lowering TA by aeration? And/or, with an AG vinyl pool, is TA even that critical?
- CH way below recommended levels. Suggestions? Pool math showing a default target of 300, requiring 22 lbs Calcium Chloride. Understand this may be for IG pools but curious if I should make any adjustments here since it's way off.
If it's relevant, pool water is from rural well, through iron filter and water softener. Also, have switched from chlorine tabs to liquid chlorine in the last 4-5 weeks.
Thanks
Greg
18’ AG, 8600 gal, vinyl, intek 1/2 hp, 18” sand - 1.07 ft2, tf-pro kit
