have you removed your lights and cleaned the niche? classic SLAM stopper, so many people stall near the end...90% of the time it seems the light was never removed. they hesitate to do it, eventually do it and discover we were right and then they pass the OCLT

Ladder - is this supposed to come off? I briefly looked at it last night and couldn't figure out how. Scrubbed around it as best I could.
Lights - don't have any
Return Housings - are you saying where the water comes back into the pool?

ok, no lights so you are good. I would definetly get in the pool with a mask and scrub all around that ladder. also, check your skimmer, sometimes there is algae around/inside it. check every nook and cranny looking for algae.

Yes, ladders come out but I have no idea how. Some folks put on a mask, get a handheld brush and go scrub underneath the the steps. Yes, the pool returns where the water is pumped back into the pool. The eyeball fitting can be unscrewed from the plumbing.
