Yeah....i was managing chems after new plaster on the stairs a month before closing. The pb wanted me to keep ph close to 7.0. I don’t trust him but my experience the year before not being aggressive enough also didn’t work out well. My pool naturally keeps a high ph even without fresh plaster. I had to be real aggressive with the MA to keep ph down and it brought ta with it. That 7.4 ph was the last number I have recorded but it would bounce btw 7.4 and up near 8.0 within a day or two until I tossed more acid in it. Hoping its more stable this year now that the plaster effect should be done
