First full test for new pool

I don’t know how to share my logs from the app but here are my results from my test. Test performed with TF-100 kit.

Ph - 8.2
FC - 2.5
CC - 0
TA - 50
CH - 350
CYA - <20

Based on the app here’s what I did, tell me where I messed up.

I added 1 cup with an extra little glug of chlorine to get the chlorine up to 3. This is brand new plaster so I’m scared to go higher than that for the time being.

Then I added 3 cups of acid to bring the PH down to ~7.4 which the installer recommends for the new plaster.

Should I be using the powder for FC every day? I assume after I get into a rhythm and see how much I’m adding every day that I’ll be able to switch to the OTO and humus’s the powder weekly or something?

Use the powder DPD and the FAS-DPD reagent also get a magnetic stirrer, SpeedStrir. You want repeatable results with 0.5ppm resolution for proper FC management. Daily FC loss changes throughout the year and high pool usage will use more FC, getting behind is not wise. Once you learn your system you will not have to test every day.
