I just finished install of a pool. PB used Finest Finish (pebble finish, "microfusion") Tahoe Blue. After a few weeks, the finish became streaky and mottled. PB drained and did a new acid wash using their "best guy." I brushed religiously. Within the first couple of weeks, I started to see some color variations (picture: white spots next to drains on the deep end as well as at bottom of walls). Then, within about a month, the dark streak appeared. Water chemistry has been managed by PB. The only anomaly I can spot is that the ph is consistently on the high side (8.2, 8.4).
Pictures are attached. Should I leave well enough alone? Am I being too particular? None of this can be seen in strong sunlight but only appears when the pool is shaded. PB has been super cooperative, and they tell me they are trying to figure out what to do next.
