Finally Time for an In-Ground Pool! Fiberglass in Houston, TX. (Concrete Deck Poured)

Are you going with NG for the heater or hp and why is your generator raised that high off the ground.
No heater yet. Will probably do that in the fall. I haven't really looked into it but probably natural gas since that is what the generator is???
It's 3 feet off the ground (along with our AC units) because our property is in a flood plain.
I'll be adding a wood screen to hide it.

Electrical completed in the morning, rebar and forms completed in the afternoon.
If nothing else, these guys are efficient!
Now waiting on inspection.
Also, the concrete was higher than the bottom step coming down from the porch, so last night I cut back the railings so they now end on what used to be the second to last step.

Pool cleanup and Pool School tomorrow!
Anything special I need to ask about during school? I'm quite familiar with water chemistry and have even had salt systems on my cheapo walmart pools, but this fancier equipment is new to me.

but this fancier equipment is new to me.
That's the important part of the 'school'. Understand every function, every valve, and how to program it all if applicable.

Make them go over it as many times as you need. It's gonna be alot to take in. :)

Pool equipment pads that do not have every device, pipe, and valve labeled as the function and flow direction is builder malpractice. Insist that everything be labeled.

27 days from the dig day and we are done!
Well, the pool is done. Just need to landscape now.

Meanwhile, I need to get the chemistry in order. Salt is in but I need to get the initial chlorine going so was going to add bleach. Should I add to shock levels? Or just standard level?
