Filter replacement (Texas Winter Apocalypse 2021)

Our power went out, pump stopped running, and yep... cracked PVC lines, cracked filter housing, and cracked DE filter.

I have a spare pump housing and can do the PVC work myself. The filter is what I need help with. The now busted filter is a Pentair FNSP-48 DE filter.

In another thread, I saw discussion of going with a cartridge filter... Seems like an easy choice. I'm looking for recommendations on make, model/size for my 10,000 gallon in-ground pool. I'll be DIY, by the way.

Right now I have an older single speed pump motor. When it finally goes TU, I'll get a nice variable speed pump, so would like to have a filter that works well with that.

Thank you in advance!

Any of the Pentair CCP filters. The larger the better.

Thank you, Allen!

My current DE filter specs are: 120 GPM, 50PSI max working pressure, and 48 sq feet filter area.

After looking at the CCP filters, I think the CCP420 would work fine, but I'm totally guessing. Here's the specs:

SQ Feet GPM 8 Hour Turnover 10 Hour Turnover 12 Hour Turnover
CCP42042015072,00090,000108,000

A worthy choice?

The CCP line of pump specs are as follows... Recommend any other model?
