Filter Pump shuts off 15 minutes- local display or main board issue?

Pool was drained and powered down for a couple of weeks. only change was disconnected pool lights and turned off pool light timer feature and have not reconnected new lights. When restarted systems, had and continue to have the COMM ERROR message. All features work as before including the remote display, except for one thing- the filter pump turns off after 15 minutes, every time. Ruled out the pump being the issue by swapping filter pump with waterfall pump and getting the same 15 min shut off, so the controller is def. telling it to turn off for some reason. All other pumps and features work fine, with pumps running at will.

Hayward troubleshooting indicated the local display is bad, but is this true? could it be the main board? don't want to go down the rabbit hole of replacing parts unnecessarily as Hayward not a great track record on accurate diagnosis and repair processes.

Anyone ran into this issue? what was the root cause? can the local display and/or main board be fixed?

Thank you

Aqualogic PS-16, 4 hayward pumps, hayward filter, hayward gas heater

Problem solved. Flow switch wire was severed. The 'no flow' message was missed due to the persistent and new 'comm error' message which still remains, but was never the cause for the filter pump to stop. Apparently the newer hayward controllers stop the filter pump after 20 mins when no flow detected. The old aqualogic I have must have been designed to shut off after 15 mins when no flow detected.
