It's so interesting that some members on the forum are running their filter 24/7. While others only run it a limited time.

While there may be a minimum run time for a pool to keep it well sanitized, as we discussed earlier, there are many different reasons to increase that run time (2-4 in list above) and each pool and pool owner has their own requirements. So it really shouldn't be surprising that run time varies.

When your chlorinating you probably want to run the filter, right?

Yes, when adding CL manually, the pump should be running for at least 30 min.
