Hi all- cleaning out my filter and noticed this small hole in the pipe. Is this normal? Hayward system

It's hard to tell what I'm looking at because your photo is such a close-up. But leaks are never normal. Whatever that pipe is, you'll want to replace the leaking section.
It’s the pipe inside the hayward swim clear cartridge system at bottom of system, it is the pipe that sends water out of filter.
