Filter cleaning

Oddly satisfying… Might have a tiny leak on the back of the band clamp at the hinge. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

As you are tightening the band clamp, go around the filter, and with a rubber mallet hit the ring mulitple places on the band toward the filter. Tighten some more, go around again. Do this a couple times until the band is properly tightened.

I had a tiny leak like that. It was caused by a very small pebble from my pebbletec. I now check the rubber o ring and the place it rests on very carefully.

I will give this a try if it is leaking. Going to check after everything should be dry. I did take it apart once after I noticed what could be a leak and made sure the ring was seated correctly
