Filling the pool

Question: We have a pool that was just completed with peble sheen fininsh. Does it matter if you use two hoses to fill versus one? Tthe pool builder is saying to only use one so it fills slower to allow plaster to saturate better while filling. just curious if this really makes a difference.

That's bizarre. I would expect it's better for the plaster to fill pool faster. Filling slowly, you'll want to make sure the plaster exposed to summer temps is protected.

Never heard about saturation while filling but make sure you have a sock over the hose end otherwise you will leave a mark forever.

Thanks all. Everything I have read actually suggests that filling the pool faster is better taking the necessary precausions of course to protect against water damage from staining or erosion ect.
