I just use the pool water. Never have any issues with it being nasty when I empty in the fall. Although I'm sure some extra chlorine won't hurt anything.
We are finishing the construction on our pool and are looking at these chairs. After watching videos and reading online I was wondering the same thing. Either putting some bleach or vinegar in the water to keep algae from growing. We live in Florida so the chairs will be out year long.
Just wondering if the sun would break down the chlorine inside the chair so maybe vinegar would be better? Also not sure how the chemical would affect the plastic...
I know everyone says just fill it with pool water, but I dont have time to swap it out once a month or quarter or whatever. So trying to think if I can put extra chemicals in there I can get a year out of it and keep it ultra low maintenance.
