Hi Friends,

I will be replacing water in the tub... Read somewhere that I should not test or add any chemicals until water is warm ...

I guess it is safe to put chlorine right away ?
Wait for it to warm up then add calcium etc

The only test I'm aware of that's temp dependant is the CYA test, which should be roughly room temp. Very cold water (like a new fill) or very hot water (like a fully heated spa) can throw off the test results on that one if you don't let it warm or cool to the approximately room temp.
