Hi everyone,
I have exactly the same broken blisters that have turned black in my pool. I've recently been dealing with metals in my pool. Is there anyway this issue could be the culprit to getting metals in my pool?
I can't seem to find the source of metals in my pool

Hello and welcome to TFP! Well, I suspect those blisters are related to the gelcoat product or how it was applied. I don't think the water chemistry would've created those blisters. But since your post was moved from another thread, let's start fresh with your issue. Please answer or address the following to help us get started:
- Update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info
- Post a full set of water test results from a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit
- How do you typically chlorinate the water?
- Do you add any unusual pool store products to the water; something other than chlorine or acid for example?
- Are you on a well?
- How old is this pool?

Let's start there and we'll see what we can come up with.
