Fiberglass pool with bullnose coping - what to seal with?

I suspect two options. Either chisel out the old in that area and press in some new grout, or look for some polyurethane caulking. Either way may not be a perfect match, but if your main goal is to keep insects and water out, that may be it.
Hi, thanks for the reply. Can I ask for you to elaborate on "why" I should/need to leave it open? My pool was just completed about a month ago and I'm not sure if they left it open on purpose or forgot?

I believe your builder left it open on purpose. Ask him.
It lets any water that gets under the coping to drain.
Show me some wider pictures showing if the gap goes all around the pool.
Also show me pictures looking down at the coping and deck.
