I wanted to validate my test results so took a water sample to Leslie’s. Their FC results were 2.5 ppm lower than mine. Purchased new R-0870 and R-0871, retested, and took a water sample to Pinch a Penny. Their result was 3 ppm lower than mine (8/5). I’m using two level dippers of R-0870 and swirling in 10ml of water until dissolved, then adding and swirling drops of R-0871 until clear. I’ve maintained my pool using tfp and confident I’m doing it right, but their results being so similarly off compared to mine raise doubt. Any suggestions to validate my results? Thx!

Do not go to pool stores for water chemistry. Use your own test kit.

Test it again and confirm you get the same thing.
If you haven't yet, get a speed stir device to avoid any issues with swirling inconsistencies.
