FC hold after SLAM?

Just curious, if I were to SLAM and get my FC levels to 28. Then proved OCLT passes and I turn my SWG to produce roughly 4-5PPM to account for the sun loss.
Would/should my FC stay at 28 indefinitely (assuming no algae, etc) or is that level just too high for the sun and CYA levels?

The FC will drop. The elevated FC is not as fully protected by the CYA. It will slowly drop towards your target.
