Little confused, I ran my pump and SWG 24x7 and my FC stayed around 7 pretty consistent..I kept it at 1/3 power
To start saving money I cut the pump down to 16 hours and and to be safe set to separate SWG to run around 14 and now my FC is 11..I even cut the SWG down to 10 hours and dropped to 10. Still at 1/3 power

I know the water temp dropped a few degree's but does running the pump and water fall use FC more?
Sounds weird but strange..I keep dropping the timer down trying to get it back to 7ish :)

Sun angle is dropping rapidly so the UV effect on the pool water is lowering quickly. Also cloudy/ hazy skies reduces UV.

My FC also spiked just as soon as the water temp dropped for a few days and the angle of the son not quite as intense as a few weeks ago. I think we're seeing fall approaching, and less stress on the SWG is a good thing.

Demand spikes in July and stays high through August but then falls off a cliff in Sept. You have to keep in mind also, the day is several hours shorter now than it was in late June/early July. .

My daily FC loss has dropped off a cliff. I am losing less than 1ppm in 24 hours now and my water temp has dropped 3 degrees in the last 5 days. Yes we are moving into the fall but this is not normal and is due to the heavy smoke cover day after day. Woke up today to black ash on the water. Skimmer net is loading up after only two hours now.

So I went out for my weekly check and my FC climbed to 17 at 60% runtime 24/7. Whoopsie. It was 12 last week and I forgot to lower the SWG after. My demand officially took a dive also. I clearly skipped the few weeks I should have been running 40% and I'll run 20% from here on out.
