FAS/DPD on 10 ML Sample Question

I just have a quick question when doing a FAS/DPD chlorine test and using the 10 ML sample for testing. Do I still use one scoop or two scoop of the FAS/DPD powder? I understand that I use one drop and take that reading as opposed to dividing by two with the 25 ML sample.

Thanks in advance :)

It's not critical whether you use one or two scoops of the 0870. As long as the sample turns pink and stays pink you have enough and are good to go. With a 10ml sample each drop of 871 reagent equals 0.5ppm of chlorine. With a 25Ml sample each drop of 871 reagent equals 0.2 ppm chlorine.

Mike.
