Family hand prints....yay or nay?

When I'm remodeling I have the kids doodle on the inside of drywall that stays.

Totally hand prints, do you think someone is not going to buy your place just because of handprints?

Average mortgage is 7 years.

Yep - they are taking us out feet first, and everything we are doing is because it's what WE want. So far, we are very happy. Grandson will have his hand or footprints in the driveway soon.

I think it's a great idea. We opted not to mark our concrete, but it has a work boot print in it anyway ??‍

@NorCalX - how long did you wait before you did your prints? I really like the depth of your prints - yours sold me on the idea of having our grandson's footprints.

I relied on the concrete crew lead to tell me when.

It was basically near the end of the process after stamping was done elsewhere. Pouring started 8am and we did the prints around 11 or so

I thought it was a bit hard to make the impression but we are happy. From certain angles you cant even see it.

I would talk with your concrete guy and also ket them know the final look you want to achieve. Deeper impressions probably have to be done sooner than we did ours

We’re going do a paver under a palm tree planter area that we plan to take family pictures in front of as the years go by. I would have no problem doing it in our concrete decking; however, IF we ever do sell the house, I want to be able to take that piece with me and not have someone else cut it out and destroy it.
