My Max Li electric pool vacuum has failed after only one year. The tiny spring behind one of the contacts in the charger has failed. Have been unable to fix! Any suggestions, other than buy a new one?
nh1, welcome to TFP! You posted this last week, and while we ideally like for members to receive a reply from someone who haa personal experience with your issue, we don't want this to sit too long without a reply - especially for your first post. So welcome to our forum. Are you still looking to fix your vacuum, or have you obtained a replacement already? If it's still an issue, feel free to reply back and use this thread as much as needed to keep it visibile. Since the season is picking up, maybe someone who has/had one will reply.
Welcome to TFP! I'll add my apologies to Pat's for the long wait. I don't have first-hand experience with this vacuum but since it's been a while I did a little looking around. Amazon has the unit but ratings are pretty poor. 30% rate it 1 star and most of the problems are battery related. Many say the manufacturer required $100 to repair. I also found an online supplier that had all high ratings. If you get a response from an experienced owner I'd follow that. Absent that I'd go to their website at www.watertechcorp.com. Looks like the do sell a lot of parts but I don' know if they have what you're looking for. Their support number is 800-298-8800 Ext. 205.
I have one, but I haven't used it that much because the air has been to cold to go swimming. Going forward I will start to use it more. So far I have not had any problems with the unit.
I have a recessed aboveground vinyl pool. I have been using the Water Tech Pool Blaster it lasts less than a year and then I purchase another using the Amazon warranty. I have also tried the Polaris Vac Sweep, which is a waste of time. And I have tried the ladybug (I can't remember the name)...
