Oh yes. They only claim it doesn't jack the CYA like all the trichlor/dichlor shocks. So being stabilized with calcium instead they tout it as CYA free.I would think with "chlorite" in the name it's going to change your chlorine count.
It would be nice if they *it will jack your calcium'd somewhere on the label, but they don't want to scare people off that way instead so whattayagonnado ?
