Wow. At that point, I would call in an excavator to have a pass at it. Or even just write that one off as a donation to mother earth and let the frogs and swamp critters have it for eternity.

If you are going to pull out the trees make sure there is still some water in there so it would make it easier. My biggest concern is that the roots might have gone through the shell of the pool.

WOW... this is going to be a fun ride to watch... looks like a hard cover of some sort on the pool? It may not be so bad underneath.. or worse. This is worth setting up a camera for time lapse on!
