Extreme cold temperature effects

I was just wondering if the extreme cold temps have any more effects towards pool issues than normal cold winters.
I see we are anticipating -15 temps Wed. with wind chill factors in the minus 50 below range. I always move all equipment indoors for this reason, since it happens every so often.
Just curious if wind chill factors act like real temps in comparison to items or things holding up.
Am I making sense?

Wind chill is how the temperature and wind effect the human body.. The wind chill factor does not have any effect on your pool equipment..
