First year pool owner here...
It looked like we might be having a shortage of liquid chlorine locally. I was getting low and felt a little panicked, so I ordered some online. It was 12.5% concentration and the price was OK, so I figured I'd give it a try.
It arrived. It lists ChemCorp out of Florida as the manufacturer. I couldn't find a date of manufacture anywhere on the box or containers. When I poured some out, it was cloudy, or rather there was some cloudy sediment on the bottom. Is this normal? Today is my first day using it, so I'm not sure yet how potent/effective it is.
Up to now, all my chlorine has come from the pool store, and it's been bright yellow and clear. My experience has been limited to just this season though, so I'm not sure what I should expect.
