Does anyone have experience with the Pentair Intelliflo relay control board? The setup is
Intelliflo 3hp for pool/spa
Intelliflo 3hp for water feature
2hp blower
7 nicheless lights
No automation. There doesn't seem to be much info on the relay board out there. Seems like a great idea, but I don't know if it would work to control the second pump, blower, and lights.

We are wondering if we should go with an old school timer setup or the relay board.

Intelliflo3 relay board only has two relays. One for loads of 5Amps or less and one for 16Amps or less.

Right so we would be able to control the lights and/or one pump or blower? In your experience is the relay worth it? We figure the lights, second pump, and blower will be used on demand. The old school flipping a switch isn't a bid deal for us.
Edit: I see where it says it can only control a single speed pump. Our second is a VS.

It is poor mans automation. It allows you to turn two devices on an off from the Pentair HOME app. Problem is you are phone and app dependent and you have to have your phone in hand to control the devices.

So why other?

All it does is turn the power on and off. It cannot control VS pump speeds of a pump connected to the relay.
