Expansive between coping and paver deck

I know there are a lot of posts on coping already. But I didn't want to Hijack other's post. I am currently redo my pool, and working on the coping and pool deck right now. Since I am using paver (Cambridge bluestone smooth) for deck, should I still leave 1/2" for expansion between coping and deck? My thinking is paver deck wouldn't expand and contract as much as concrete deck. Thank you.
