I just did Deck-O-Seal, and even though it's a little bit labor intensive, it came out great. Just make sure your foam underneath is in good shape. I let my pool and deck settle for a couple years, but the foam started to break down. A couple spots the caulk seeped down and left a void. I had to go and fill in the low spots. If I had to do it again, I would put new foam backer rod down.

I spoke with a rep at Deck-O-Seal and he recommended the two part mix instead of the premixed. He said the two part would last longer. They don't sell direct, so you need to find a distributer or somewhere nearby that stocks it. I had to get it online, as the closest place was too far away. I used Poolweb.com and received it quickly.

Thanks, i submitted the email request for the local distributors on their site a few days ago. I'll keep googling around to see if I can find it anywhere.

I also need to figure out a way to block the front of the coping that faces the pool, that's also open and will need to be sealed. I'm thinking of using painters tape or something. I'm sick of rain water going through the hole and dumping ants and dirt into my clean pool!
