Recent storm dumped excess water in pool. Added chlorine 5-10 ppm,ph 7.4, alkalinity high with Taylor test kit. Filter running all day. Still cloudy. What next?

35000 gallons. You are right I need a better test kit which I have ordered. I just was wondering what other tests I needed for slam. Thank you for clarifying that.
