I'm hoping to get some thoughts on what this is and what caused it. The pool is new in 2017 Gunite Pool, picture to the left minus all the tree debris, you can see the multitude of spots, you can see them better in the right picture.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately you have not logged your chemical tests and additions for the last 7 years in PoolMath for us to see how the plaster has been maintained.

What plaster finish was applied from what manufacture in 2017?

Some areas look like organic blue pigments are bring bleached out - Not All Color Pigments are Good for Pools It appears the plaster products that contain “organic” pigments become bleached (loss of color) over time when subjected to chlorine (an oxidizer). But products with “inorganic” pigments generally do not become bleached. Additionally, experiments which subjected both organic and inorganic pigments to LSI aggressive water showed that neither type of pigment lost their color from etching.

Other round areas look like acid burns from Trichlor tablets sitting on the plaster.

Let's se if @onBalance has thoughts.

Thanks aj, strange I use pool math all the time, regardless is this just a cosmetic problem? or could it grow into something bigger?
What Finish? I have no idea Gunite white?
I only use the Trichlor tabs when I will be away for some time other than that is LC.
Ill read the links, thanks for your time.

It is basically cosmetic.

Hard to know the quality of what was installed if you do not know the details of the finish.

Where do you put the Trichlor tablets? Looks like some landed on the pool floor.

Is this common white plaster pool finish?
From the photos, it appears that there are some imperfections caused by improper troweling. It is mostly a cosmetic problem that will likely get slightly worse over time. The only remedy of removing that type of discoloration is sanding the plaster with sandpaper.
