My cell window indicates error AC and lights are red. If I pull the fuse in the power center and reinsert it, the AC goes away and the lights turn green. This last until the next time the timer kicks on. Please help me know what needs to be fixed.
It’s a pentair ic30. I see the power center referred to as pc100. The power center is $700 but the board is $200. I’ve watched several videos over the past 3 days but haven’t found one that addresses this issue. I’d appreciate any help you can offer. If I’m not answering your question adequately, please ask me again. I don’t know how to tell what’s wrong with itWelcome to the forum!
Can you give us the brand, model, etc of the SWCG you are speaking of?
I suggest you read through Pool Care Basics - Trouble Free Pool and even look at a few of our videos TFP-TV - Trouble Free Pool
I had found the trouble shooting results like you sent. My son is an electrician. I feel he must have a multimeter. What would he be looking for? The system was installed 3 1/2 years ago. Parts of it were replaced almost 2 years ago, but not sure which parts. Nonetheless, pentair says warranty is expired. Is a bad rectifier detectable with the multimeter? No, I have no idea how to use one, but I’d like to be able to give him your information. If the rectifier is bad, would replacing the card fix it without having to buy an entire power center? I really do appreciate you.View attachment 614002
Do you have a multimeter and know how to use it?
How old is your Power Pack and cell?
You may have a bad rectifier on the surge board in the Power Pack.
To be clear, my son is not available at this moment, and with 30 years experience, I’m sure he knows what you’re saying. I just don’t and I want to be able to provide him as much as I can. Thank you!!!The power pack should be putting out 22V-39V DC onto the red and black wires.
The power center is explained in Pentair Intellichlor ICXX SWG - Further Reading

Output: 22-39 VDC @ 7.5 AMPS maximum from the Power Center.
Can you explain exactly where you measured the voltages? The voltage from the power center was 38. But the voltage out of the board was 13.
I’m not sure. An electrician checked it using the information that was provided in this threadCan you explain exactly where you measured the voltages?
