Most importantly- it is my wife's pool. In 17 years I have only been in it a handful of times, but I expect that to change in the future. She keeps it at 95 degrees for her fibromyalgia and spends up to two hours a day for general exercise. It is inside the house in its own modular section.
Due to leaking, we will soon have the liner replaced and also have the pump changed to the newer constantly running 0.5hp vs the current Hayward 2.5hp (?).
She uses liquid Clorox. I am looking to see if folks have any experience with using a UV system and Google has not produced much useful information. I expect that using a smaller pump will make a UV clarifier/sterilizer more realistic since the water flow will be slower past the light.
