Electrical Requirements for heat pump

I was hoping to get some advice on the electrical requirements for a heat pump for our new Intex pool.
Pentair 1.5hp VS pump - 20amp 230V
50K btu heat pump - 20amp 230V
2 Led lights
Dophin pool cleaner with DC motor.
I was planning on installing a 60amp sub panel for everything and running double pole 20amp GFCI breakers for the pump and heat pump.
The remaining 20amp plug should be plenty to run the LED string lights and cleaner.

I have read conflicting information regarding the heat pump. Seems like most people run them off of breakers in their pool sub panel, but I read a post where an electrician said the heat pump cannot be run off of a sub panel.
It must be run on its own circuit from the main panel. Is this correct?

Not a problem running a HP off a subpanel if everything is sized and wired properly.
