Electrical question around pump replacement

I'm taking on the task of replacing one of my spa pumps myself. I've ordered the new pump and have a question about the wiring. The old one had the white wire in a different place than the way the new pump came to me. Does it matter? How do I know which wires go where? Any chance the beige and white wires are interchangeable?

They should be interchangeable. The close parallel terminals are the same polarity on the capacitor.

So I replaced my pump with a new one, hooked everything back up. When I turn it on, I hear the pump turning on, but no water flows. Any ideas? Airlock? If so, how do I fix?

Did you fill the pump housing with water before starting?

No, i thought when I filled it up with water that would just happen. I'm seeing a few videos showing to open the bleeder valve or crack open the unions slightly to let the air escape, guess I will try that next.

That was the problem, I cracked open the unions and heard air escaping and quickly closed when water started to come out. Water is flowing now, thanks all.
