15 years, left outside in the Las Vegas heat the whole time. Customer support is excellent. They even offered to send a new face plate since mine is weathered beyond usefulness. Holds temp like no other.

I saw that Char-broil makes a wifi one, but the reviews said that it drops the connection frequently and if the wifi drops, it resets itself and turns off. So I ruled that one out. Thanks for the info.

i have the charbroil one and ive read all the reviews.... my unit doesnt suffer from these problems. my unit is not far from the router, but i find the unit, once working, to be stable. i love the unit, but it has a few flaws which they've worked out over time. it's not perfect, but it works and works well imo
