Electric actuator valve set up

I am looking for input on an electric pool valve system. Here is my dilemma. We NEVER use our spa and here is why. Once I have my manual valves for pool/spa suction/return set to where everything is working as I like it, it kills me to change it. The valve adjustments are so finicky, that literally one incredibly small tooth adjustment left or right, significantly affects skimmer flow and pool clearer output. Now times these adjustments by 2, on both the in / outflow. I even have gone as far as marking the correct position with a paint pen. Even then, due to the width of this mark there is a margin of error.

How accurate are the electric actuators. Do they have the same level of adjustment as the manual? If so, when switching between pool and spa, how accurate is the return to previous function?

If this is a viable solution, based on my pictures attached, what would be the recommendation on proper system and parts to purchase?

how difficult is the installation. I am extremely comfortable with DIY items.

Valve actuators are very precise in their two positions. You adjust a cam that closes a micro swicth to shutoff the actuator when in the desired position.

You need a basic Pentair pool/spa automation system. You can read about them at Pentair Automation Systems - Further Reading Some of the systems can be bought bundled at a lower price with two actuators and also an IC40 cell if you may need a new cell soon.

You are missing the most important part of the automation trilogy... IntelliFlo + IntelliChlor IC40, + EasyTouch automation.

With a automation system you can control the speed of your pump for various situations.. One speed to run the pool, one speed to run the spa, and one speed to run your cleaner.

With three valves, you can switch back and forth between the Pool and Spa mode as well select the suction for just the cleaner or just the skimmer.
