Hi,

The effects of adding function isnt working.

Changing the chlorine percentage doesnt change the results in “Estimated Effects”.

For example, it says raise free chlorine by x ppm no matter what chlorine percentage.

For example example, 1000ml of 12% chlorine will raise free chlorine by 18ppm but if i change the chlorine percentage to 1000ml of 40% chlorine it still says raise free chlorine by 18ppm.

This behaviour is correct. Chlorine is not available at concentrations above 12.5, at least here in the states. Pool Math uses 12.5% for the calculation if you enter a larger number for %.

Thanks for the reply. I see why the app defaults to a maximum.

However, here in the UK liquid chlorine is sold at 14-15%

It doesnt work when you go for percentages below 5.

Though I am in the states and will never encounter this problem, I believe this is a legitimate issue that should be flagged to be fixed or should be stated in the APP that there is a MAX or MIN value that can be entered. We don't want to mislead anyone with the APP.

What about 1.5 % X 10 for 15% (etc). There might be some rounding error once multiplied but it's probably close enough.
