Hi, I have read only good things about Aquabright - but only up until 2019 or so. Does anyone have some experience with longer usage? Will it last 10 years (or more?) I am seriously considering it for a concrete pool built in 2020 which has been painted twice already - last time to disastrous results (bubbles!) current pool man wants to put a liner in but I'm not a fan and price is not cheap at EUR 10,400. Also looking at resin at 12,000 and then aquabright at 17,000. I am very willing to pay if it is as fabulous as promised. The installer has quite a few years of experience so this does not appear to be a concern. Thanks for any input!

You would be best off asking to see some of the installers older projects. does the 17k include removing the old paint and making the surface smooth enough to receive the aquabright?
Great idea! I will do that, thank you. In fact, he has done a few waterparks in the area, so I can go have a look. Yes, the fee includes removing the current surface. It is about 350 m2. Thanks again.
If the installer is experienced like you say, I wouldn’t worry about the durability. If you look at the aquabright web page: aquaBRIGHT Pool Finish: Benefits, Colors, and More, you can see that there’s a limited 10 year warranty. It really is a great product.
DO IT. You won’t regret! Finished our 2019 build with it and love it!!! We were able to get a lifetime warranty on the install with ours, so that was a great bonus. But I believe the product itself has a lifetime warranty. (It’s in the application that things could go wrong … so do your homework on a qualified and certified installer)
